Gruppo Saviola

A “Saved Forest” as Architectural Narrative

An installation of 100 m³ of reclaimed wood - equivalent to 230 trees saved — transforms Gruppo Saviola’s booth at Interzum (May 20–23, Cologne) into a true architectural narrative. Designed by DASS, the project becomes a tangible manifesto of circularity, perfectly aligned with the fair’s theme: “Rethinking Resources: Circular and Biobased Solutions.” Each Ecological Panel® — made from 100% recycled wood — tells a story of sustainability, making the material itself the protagonist of the communication.

A Sensory Journey Through Everyday Spaces

The booth is structured as a sequence of settings, kitchen, living room, office, showcasing real-life applications of Saviola surfaces. The surfaces engage in a dialogue with new finishes such as Etrusco Brown, Statuario Venato Naturale in Blunt, and Noce Ghirano in Chandler, combined with abstract decorative patterns and contemporary textures. Each space becomes an immersive experience where form, color, and tactile quality narrate the brand’s versatility and commitment to circular design.

Virtuous Collaborations: Materiality and Circularity

Completing the exhibition journey, the co-exhibition with like-minded companies gave rise to innovative interpretations of the Ecological Panel®. Cimento showcased the Cimento Panel, inspired by concrete but made from recycled wood.

Overall, DASS successfully gave tangible form to Gruppo Saviola’s values, translating sustainability, circular economy, and innovation into a coherent, engaging, and functional exhibition project. This booth does not simply display products — it tells their story with determination, consistency, and vision.
