DASS Innovation and Sustainability in Exhibition Setups

Even in the world of fairs and events, sustainability is becoming an increasingly essential value. DASS has made environmental, social, and economic responsibility one of its fundamental pillars. The achievement of the ISO 20121:2012 certification represents an important recognition of our commitment to designing and creating exhibition solutions with a responsible and sustainable approach, minimizing environmental, social, and economic impacts. This milestone marks another step towards excellence and aims to set an example for the entire industry.

Sustainability Recognitions

In addition to being involved in local reforestation projects, our commitment to sustainability has been recognized on numerous occasions. During CPHI 2024, a pharmaceutical event held at Fiera Milano Rho, several DASS projects received the Better Stands certification, which rewards exhibitors who move away from disposable stands in favor of more sustainable solutions. Among the awarded companies:

  • Better Stands Bronze
Interchem Corporation, Indena Spa, Esteve Quimica S.A., and Content Group

  • Better Stands Silver
Samsung Biologics Co. Ltd. and Zach System SA

  • Better Stands Gold
    FIS – Fabbrica Italiana Sintetici

DASS also distinguished itself in the two-wheel sector: Ducati Motor Holding Spa received the Sustainable Exhibitor Award during EICMA 2024 for its commitment to reusing and increasing the durability of stand components.

Sustainable Projects for the Future

For 2025, DASS will continue to assess the environmental impact of its setups, focusing on major events such as Made in Steel, the international trade fair for the steel industry, which is also ISO 20121 certified. The goal will be to support exhibitors in reducing their environmental impact through responsible material choices and optimized space organization.

Every action taken by DASS aims to ensure a more sustainable future, solidifying its role as an innovative leader in the exhibition industry.
