For MCE 2026, the Mitsubishi project represents a clear evolution — not just continuity, but a step forward. Building on a solid foundation developed over previous editions, the concept was reimagined to push beyond its boundaries, transforming the exhibition space into a true technological and experiential “tatami.”
Presence gives way to storytelling. Physical machinery is replaced by immersive narrative: a floor LED wall reshapes spatial perception, while a 3D backdrop behind the reception desk turns information into experience.
Here, technology is no longer just support — it becomes language.
Within this balance, the natural dimension remains central. Cherry blossoms flow through the space, creating a harmonious dialogue between Japanese identity and digital innovation.
This is the value of a long-term collaboration: not simply designing spaces, but building visions that evolve over time, layering and expanding.
FOCUS
Cherry blossoms: a symbolic element of Japanese culture, they introduce an emotional dimension within a highly innovative context, softening the technological language and making it more human.
